Hi,

I am looking for recommendations on a field use preamp/mixer for 2
condenser XLR mics. It must be able to run batteries and supply phantom
power and be very mobile/rugged. Is the MixPre by Sound Devices my best
bet? I was hoping for something a little less expensive, but I am not
familiar enough with audio recording to make that judgement.
