Default power Yamaha AW16G from car battery better for sound-quality?

Will AW16G sound better (cleaner) with car- (truck) battery then included
power adaptor? It feeds on 16V 2,4 A......Anyone ever tried? (lol)

I know that guitar stompboxes sound better with a battery instead of power
supply, but then eveery battery brand can sound different. Some only come
alive when they are used with certain brands of battery.
You'll have to experiment!

I haven't tried that particular gear, but I find most audio equipment
sounds better when supplied with solid power from an otherwise
isolated low impedance battery of serious capacity. Use a minimum
length of heavy wire for best results. For even solider sound,
disconnect any AC power supply, and remove any electrolytic capacitors
from the main power bus. If the power bus uses wimpy wire or PC
traces, and relies on the electrolytics to compensate, you may need to
route more heavy wire around the board.

But your 16V may indicate a problem. A 12V car battery isn't likely to
provide enough voltage, so you may lose more than you gain. And the
16V line may not be the actual power bus - the voltages you want to
keep rock-solid may be derived from the 16V and stabilized locally by
more electrolytics. Have a look inside and see if there are better
places to install batteries.
