I have a 1960's AKG D12 that has had a new capsule installed by AKG in
Nashville. The mic came back sounding great, and it became my A kick mic. After only a few sessions, but unfortunatly several months, a distortion appeared in the sound at high SPL's. I sent the mic back to AKG, but they no longer work on this model. I find myself in a bad situation with this mic. Ihave some money invested in it, and it is just setting in my mic case. If anyone has any ideas on where I can get the mic repaired, or if someone wants to buy or trade for it please contact me. David Brouillette www.basswhore.com |
