Default bill vermillion - question about sphere console

Are you still out there Bill? I recently hijacked a sphere console
that was number three of three custom made consoles for spectrum
studios. It was headed for the dump (yikes!). I'm trying to track
down info for it to decide if I want to disassemble it for parts or
try to find someone that would like the whole console. I can't really
used the console as it is right now, too big & heavy to get into my
humble basement 'studio'. I did a search on the board here & you seem
to be knowledgable about the sphere consoles, so I hoped that you
could help me track down some info on this console or point me towards
someone that could. Or offer any advice on how to proceed with this.

Wow. I don't think Bill has posted here for almost ten years now. He
still pops up now and then but I don't think I have even seen him on
the Ampex list for a long time.

bilver.oau.org doesn't seem to resolve any more, but I know that was valid
as late as 1997. oau.org isn't even valid any more, it appears. You might
try www.switchboard.com and see if there is still a telephone number for
him in Winter Park, FL.

Man, that is a name from the past. He left pretty much when all of the
bozos started piling on the internet in the mid-nineties and the Eternal
September began.

He wrote some of the early r.a.p posts that I thought were worth saving.
It would be good to know if he's still around.

Cheers.

James.

Dan Kennedy knew someone from Sphere. You might ask him.
Cheers, Rick Novak.
