Actually, my local coffeehouse sells Illy. If you get desperate I can point
you in their direction.

I've ordered from
http://www.lattelove.com, and also purchased it when
I can find it in stores. I've found it at Dean & DeLuca, as well as
other good delis. There's a place near where my brother lives in Falls
Church, VA, some kind of killer Italian deli. I think it's on Lee
Highway, and it's called "The Italian Store". Last time I was in
there, I bought a couple of cans. They have absolutely great
sandwiches, too.

I don't know what it is, but they sure know how to make coffee in
Europe. Germany, Switzerland, Spain, France... never had a bad cup
over there.

Let me know if you need any suggestions in single malt Scotch. g

Single malt in coffee? That's a waste of good whisky AND a waste of good
coffee.

Black Bush & strong black coffee - now there's a match made in heaven.

This morning I saw seven posts from Phil Allison that really got me
steamed at both his ignorance, arrogance, and unwillingness to accept
offers of exactly what he was asking for (data). But instead of
zipping off a response, I just had another swig of coffee and moved on
to another message. I think that by tomorrow, though, I'll need some
brandy in that coffee.

How am I doing?

Phil is like a weird little puppy that chases the vacuum cleaner around the
house.

Sometimes just for entertainment, you pull out the vacuum and run it around the
living room and laugh while the puppy bares his little teeth and bravely
charges the vacuum cleaner over and over.

It gets old after a while, but every once in a while, the act is good for a
laugh or two.

One vacuum cleaner that Phil loves chasing is WD-40.

So Phil, clean any pots with WD-40 lately? You know, it can damage them, right?

Hey that's why this ol' blind man likes short barrrelled shotguns, I
might have some drywall to replace after I make mush out of the

threat.

THe big blow took the roof off a junior high school on the west bank
and created a little havoc but not much for us. Pensacola got their
butts kicked though. I spent the night of the big blow as ham radio
volunteer communications for Charity HOspital. My xyl manned vhf and
uhf while I manned the hf station as I was the only one of us with the
appropriate license. WE camped on the floor, I got a total of about
two hours sleep before I got up and manned the emergency net again.

NExt day I made it home to find everything still intact and my
antennas still in the air, so I got to run two more hours of emergency
net from home then I slept the sleep of the dead for the rest of the
day.

HOpefully Jean and Karl leave FLorida and the gulf coast alone. WE've
had enough for awhile.

Mike,

I'm sure your blood pressure will appreciate it.

THERE IS NOW A NEWSGROUP FOR POLITICAL DISCUSSIONS BY PEOPLE WHO ALSO WANT TO
TALK AUDIO/.

IT'S CALLED rec.audio.misc

Some of the more thoughtful members of rec.audio.pro have found it and are no
longer posting OT stuff here. We would encourage EVERYONE who wants to talk
about OT stuff with audio people to add rec.audio.misc to their readers.

Thanks,

Ty Ford

Long enough for folks to have found it if they were looking for a good
OT hang. DAW-Mac has a whole 'nother e-list for that and it helps keep
the main list focused.

I am we; RAP has a charter, though from my gitgo here, I've probably
been the most OT poster until the politcullness went bazonkers. Thing
was, with little OT, twisting a thread for a joke wasn't always
reprehensible. After all, laughter is important to audio survival.

Furthermore, if you can't figure out who is "we" in the context of
rec.audio.pro, then maybe you _should_ read the charter, and consider
whether or not you are able to post on topic at all. Do you do any
audio?
