Well folks,

Also lets ask the question....what about drive noise? I have a combo
studio/control room. Both of my Macs are cabled out to other areas where
their noise can't be picked up by the mics.

Regards,

Ty

i don't know how loud it'll be while not "idle" as i still haven't
seen/heard one in person, but from apple.com:

"Quieter than a whisper, the iMac G5 measures less than 25dB when idle
(at the same distance of 50cm, a whisper in a quiet room measures more
than 30dB)"

My G5 is one of the quieter Macs I've heard, but it's still too loud to be in
the same room with mics.
