You don't have a clue whats going on, and I don't have the time to re-spew
all of the relevant posts here for YOUR benefit. Either educate yourself and
come back and apologize, or go f**k yourself. I am notoriously
anti-politics. I have made exactly 1 post that could be considered
'political' in the past year since I have been back from my self imposed
exile from this post. I posted one joke in a thread that was clearly a post
of political jokes. Ty Ford assumed that the post represented my own
political opinions, took offence and reported me for my violation. Not any
of the other posters, most of which represent a political opinion at odds
with the JOKE that I posted. I have no time or patience for the political
bull**** in this group.

Then YOU come in with ANOTHER copy of the FAQ's as if you know what is going
on. At least when I was playing Topic Cop I didn't shove the FAQ's in their
face and pontificate as IF I knew everything that had gone on before.

These FAQ's are particularly important if you are needing to attack

someone
with a differing political views, Right Ty? That IS what you did after

all.

I don't care what anyone's political view is. I sure don't want to read
political viewpoints in RAP. The FAQ is clear on what topics are
acceptable:

Quoted from the FAQ:

Q1.1 - What is this newsgroup for? What topics are appropriate here, and
what
topics are best saved for another newsgroup?

This newsgroup exists for the discussion of issues and topics related
to professional audio engineering. We generally do not discuss issues
relating to home audio reproduction, though they do occasionally come
up.

END Quote

What I can't understand is how the jerks that have turned this newsgroup
into a political forum justify themselves. I guess it is a case of "my
pleasure is more important than the other participants' pleasure".
Particularly, I don't understand why group participants who are valued
participants in audio discussions justify their political discussions. I
don't buy the "just killfile me if you don't like it" rationalization.
That's an imposition on the rest of us. It is boorish. I don't buy the

"I
just want to talk politics with my audio buddies" rationalization. That's
like having your own conversation on politics, while in the audience at an
AES meeting. It is bad manners in the extreme.

It is easy to understand why many of our previously most knowledgeable and
valued posters have left the building. I can't blame them. All because

of
immature children who can't control themselves. And they are the ones who
think they know how to run the country. What a cruel joke.
