Yes. I know that, and have read the AES standards documents. I have a
set of files that have been generated by the aes interface. From what I
can determine, these are the result of taking a data structure in the
form of:

preamble-aux-data payload-vucp

and turning them into

payload-vucf

two payloads per frame, 192 frames per data block.

i.e., they are AES3 Elementary Streams.
