Greetings,
I'm new to this group and am looking for some professional advice:
I want to purchase a standalone CD recorder for my church.
My price limit is $700.
So far all I'm turning up is HHB and Tascam.
Any recommendations/experiences are appreciated.

Lite-On LVW-5005, $300. It will record CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW,
DVD+R and DVD+RW. That should be enough! There is, of course, the
assumption that you have mike preamps and mikes.

If you have a PC in the area, I'd advise both recording and editing on
the hard drive, before transferring to the CD recorder.
