I was in Tape Warehouse this week. They sell empty CD spindles for $1
each. I offered and they agreed to take all my empty spindles.

Better than throwing them away.

These days I end up getting spindles that have no spindles----a hundred CDs
wrapped in plastic with a dummy on the top and bottom.

The fact is, I wish I had not thrown as many spindles away as I had in the
past since I often need to have a few around. So don't throw all of them
away---you may be happy that you kept a few.

A while ago I asked here if anyone had come up with a good use for
those, since I had a couple of empties that just looked too nice to
throw away. I ended up storing all the demo and press release CDs that
I've picked up at trade shows (which, although now quite useless, are
also too good to throw away).

I'm an addicted packrat and I need help.

I think I need a few more CD spindles (with the covers, of course).
