Yep it's me again ;-) I posted a thread yesterday " Any opinions on
Scorpion II VS. Bullet??" and got some very useful answers, Thanks a lot!!! Actually I have a Trident Series 65 I use as front end for my Pro Tools. It has been used on the road in many years and is therefore in a pretty bad shape, so a lot of the channels are not working at the moment. I have considering getting it fixed as I have always thought that the Trident 65 was a great desk. But a technician I spoke to told me the pre and eq's wasn't any better than a TAC, so he recommended me to buy a Scorpion or Bullet instead of getting my Trident repaired! But I'm still not sure what to do. So I wanted to hear if any of your guys had worked with both Mixers in the past or have some opinions about the Trident 65? It's always the Trident A and 80 series that I hear about, but there's almost no info on the 65. I know that it's a cheaper version of Trident's boards like TAC is to Amek, but is it really not better that a TAC disk?? Thanks again, Peter |
