Asked this on: rec.audio.misc
Thought I'd ask here as well, since it is a larger group. Just got a DBX - 224X. I also have a Tenna Phase III equalizer. I would like recommendations on the best way to have them both connected. That is, Line-in/out or Tape-in/out? Or maybe Line-in/out from one and Tape-in/out of the other? Which should be in front of the other for best recording/playback? thanks for your assistance. ds |

Signal-processing devices should generally be placed in the tape-monitor loop
where they can easily be switched in and out. The dbx goes first, as its processing is applied before any other kind of processing during playback. You can hook the equalizer into the 224's tape loop. |
