Default Microphone Usage with Marantz CDR300 Recorder

I have ordered a Marantz CDR300 Recorder. For anyone familiar with
this unit, I have a question as to microphones. Will I be able to use
my two Sony ECM-33P microphones with it. I have an external power
supply for them. If I use them do I use the external power and turn
off the phantom power supply or just use the phantom power supply
provided by the recorder? As you can probably tell, I don't
understand much about this and don't want to ruin the mikes or the
recorder.

Thank you.

Do your mikes use 48v phantom? That's the professional standard phantom power
voltage, so they probbly do. If so, just use the phantom on the recorder.

I have one of those recorders... pretty cool!
