I have ordered a Marantz CDR300 Recorder. For anyone familiar with
this unit, I have a question as to microphones. Will I be able to use my two Sony ECM-33P microphones with it. I have an external power supply for them. If I use them do I use the external power and turn off the phantom power supply or just use the phantom power supply provided by the recorder? As you can probably tell, I don't understand much about this and don't want to ruin the mikes or the recorder. Thank you. Susan |

That's the professional standard phantom power voltage, so they probbly do. If so, just use the phantom on the recorder. I have one of those recorders... pretty cool! -jeff |
