Hello everyone,
Thanks for all the information I've picked up while monitoring this group over the past few weeks. I have been learning using an M-box and now want to upgrade to a professional level system (soundwise) without spending the $ for a ProTools HD system. For recording mostly chamber music would like the following: the editing capability of Pro-Tools or better, at least 16 active tracks (sometimes I record non-classical with multiple overdubs), at least two very high quality converters, preferrably the convenience features of Pro-tools such as click track, easily accesible switching between monitoring in and out signals, low latency for overdubs, etc. Usable with PC and/or Mac. Can anyone make suggestions? Thanks, Steve Engle |
