I've been syncing Cubase SX 2.02 and Paris together lately with Paris as master DAW sending ADAT sync to the Cubase rig, then returning the Cubase stems to Paris via lightpipe. Sort of a *doubleDAW*. Works amazingly well for taking advantage of flexible gain staging in Paris. Sort of like having a monster digital 2bus with none of the A/D distortion that might occur if you were doing this analog and with the added advantage of the Paris onboard DSP. Some of the new proprietary plugins that are being developed for the Paris onboard DSP chips are amazing and if the tracks are properly grouped in Cubase SX and the stems bussed to Paris, this scenario also solves the latency issues regarding UAD-1.
