Anyone know the title/composer of the recessional instrumental played for
Reagan's Nat Cathedral service?

I believe it was "The Mansions of the Lord", from the score to the film "We
Were Soldiers".

"The Mansions of The Lord" by Nick Glennie-Smith, from the Mel Gibson movie
about the Vietnam War, "We Were Soldiers". Musical Director Glennie-Smith and
Director Randall Wallace searched for an Army counterpart to "The Navy Hymn"
but could not find one, so they wrote this piece. Very Vaughn Williams I
think.

To fallen soldiers let us sing
Where no rockets fly nor bullets wing
Our broken brothers let us bring
To the Mansions of the Lord

No more bleeding, no more fight
No prayers pleading through the night
Just divine embrace, eternal light
In the Mansions of the Lord

Where no mothers cry and no children weep
We will stand and guard though the angels sleep
Through the ages safely keep
The Mansions of the Lord.
