Hi,
I just recently converted a couple of EMU CD's with CDxtract to the NN-XT format. I've noticed that the sustain loops in each .wav sample of my patches were not being properly reproduced, this created a repeating audible click when a note was held down past it's time length and triggered to loop. (it's as if the each wav file was edited to loop at a slightly incorrect position). I've checked every sample in SoundForge to make sure this problem wasn't related to an improperly looped section, but everything was set perfect. I tried converting the same patch to the EXS24 format for Emagic's sampler to compare the differences and infact the patch was playing flawlessly and notes were sustaining without any audible clicks on loop playback. I am aware of the "loop start" and "loop end" settings under the panel, but if i'd have to change that same option for the 1500 patches that I've just converted, I might just go "reason"nably mad. I'd appreciate any help you can offer me. Thank you -Capo |
