Default Pencil vs LDC for sampling guitar

For sampling a guitar in stereo, which would you pick between a LDC style
like a Marshall MXL 1006 etc. and a pencil style like the 603s?

I've never used a pencil style mic like a 603s, what's the difference in
properties between it and a LDC?

Thanks for all input.

I guess I'll say the smaller condensers, but it depends on which mics you're
talking about, and what type of sound you're trying to capture.

As a rule, it's easier to make large diaphragm condenser mics quieter, and it's
easier to make small diaphragm condenser mics exhibit less off axis coloration.
Most other sonic differences can't be attributed merely to the size of the
diaphragm.

A Schoeps CMC64 sounds great on an acoustic guitar. So does a Brauner Valvet.
They don't sound the same and depending on the sound I'm looking for I choose
one or the other... or a different mic altogether.
