Default Using Little Labs IBP on Existing Tracks

Most of the descriptions of using this device seem to concentrate
on uses during tracking, such as matching up a bass DI with
a mic'd amp. Is anyone using this to match up already (digitally)
recorded tracks? I realize one would have to deal with the latency
issue and there would be some slight penalty in doing an additional
D/A/D conversion cycle, but it would also mean that the cheap user
(me) might get away with buying only one.

I'm not sure what the latency issue would be. But if you're already using
a digital recording system, I'd first try time-shifting the tracks to see
if they'd match up before doing anything else.

If you're mixing analogue with a digital recorder, all the channels get
the same processing. If you're mixing digitally, and looping one channel
through a D/A A/D combination, you can just shift that channel to match
up with the delay through the converters. No issue at all.

But shifting the channel alone might solve a lot of your problems in the
first place, without having to buy the Little Labs box. The advantage of
the Little Labs box is that it takes something very easy to do in the
digital domain and makes a good approximation of it in the analogue domain.
