Default Is Audigy 2 good enough if you only want to play with VSTi's (so no recording)?!..

If you are happy with the Audigy 2 for anything, then you'll be happy with
VSTs thru it.

However, you can get much better cards, all round.

I think the latency is somewhere around 75 ms. That might be tough to
deal with when playing.
