Default A good Mastering engineer, maybe?

I have just finished a heavy rock thing and I need to get it mastered. There
are only 6 tunes all about 4 minutes long. I got a dude in Atlanta to do it
for me that I have been using for a while, but he doesn't seem to do so well
at the heavier rock. So, I need to get it done again but I don't have a bunch
of cash. Somewhere around the $500-$600 range would be acceptable. Can you
guys point me in the right direction?
Thanks a bunch for all of the help,
JJ
