That's still not enough information. Is the room for the piano only?
Or (likely, as it's jazz) will there be other musicians playing in the
room with the pianist?

Obviously you need enough room for everyone to set up. Drums take up
at least as much floor space as the piano, and you should figure on
an absolute minimum of about 60 square feet for each musician to allow
room for instruments, microphone stands, and baffles or acoustic
separation.

Probably the most important thing is to make the ceiling reasonably
high, at least 14 feet. And be sure to allow an extra couple of feet
in each direction than you think you'll need so you'll have space for
acoustical treatments.
