Default Reversing foot pedal?

This just started happening and I can't seem to get it back to the way it's
supposed to be. I'm using foot pedal as sustain with my K2000 and the pedal
is working in reverse (not depressed is sustain - depressed dampens). Anyone
know how to reverse this? Using a basic roland pedal.

Try powering up with the pedal depressed... this is probably what happened
to reverse it in the first place - a number of keyboards use this feature
to adapt to different makes of pedals (some of which are "normally on", and
some of which are "normally off"), though I don't know offhand if the k2000
is one of them. Will only take a moment to find out, though.

This happens with my yamaha keyboard too. Try holding the pedal down
when you turn on the keyboard. If it doesnt work, then get another
pedal, its no huge financial loss.

Many times there is a tiny switch on the bottom of the pedal. This reverses
the circuit (probably for differnces in some keyboard manufacturers). I had
the same problem and found the switch on the bottom and that solved the
problem.
