(For the techs out there) If anyone can assist: My Sony TC-K71
cassette deck (3 head, dual capstan) "pendulum" drive (fast-wind/rewind) doesn't seem to disengage the supply (left) spindle on STOP. This leads to the tape dragging on PLAY, (even with dual capstans). Is there supposed to be a spring of some sort to center the pendulum, or some other mechanism to disengage it from the spindle(s) when in STOP? (This deck is definitely worth sorting out, to me.) Thanks in advance , Max. |
