Is it better to use shielded speaker cable than a non shielded one? Are there any drawbacks associated with a shielded cable? It is never better o use shielded speaker cable. If for some reason you would benefit from a sheilded speaker cable, thn you would be better-off investing in an amplifier that wasn't fundamentally flawed. Higher capacitance. Should make things sound less 'digital' (ie LPF). geoff |
