If you put 2 of 8 ohm speakers in parallel, you will have a 4 ohm load to
the amplifier. This is the approach I would think to use. You do not want to put 2 ohms across your amplifier! -- Greetings, Jerry Greenberg GLG Technologies GLG ========================================= WebPage http://www.zoom-one.com Electronics http://www.zoom-one.com/electron.htm Instruments http://www.zoom-one.com/glgtech.htm ========================================= "Joe" wrote in message m... I just bought a ported bandpass box, with 2-10" holes. Plexi front. The speakers will angle toward the plexi and back at eachother. My amp is a Rockford Fosgate 300 Bridgeable, i think 4 ohm output. Speakers i think are 4 ohm. If i parallel them and they are 4's, i should get 2 ohms. I guess if they are 8's i am in just fine. But should this type of box be wired push-pull??? Any advice appreciated in advance. I do have a crossover that seems to have every adjustment possible. Please email |
