Hey Song Writer,

Try a pair of Alesis M1 Active. Very flat.

Check out our stuff at our website, all three songs done on ProTools.

The NEC flat screen ones look nice. Not great resolution, but they don't
put out any sweep noise.

Yuck. You just had to throw that in there, didn't you Ty. Man, that makes
me want to puke. Maybe I'll just puke right here in this uncovered bucket
of beer...

Aren't monitors supposed to be for ears, not for computer software?

It would figure that hagas wouldn't appeal to a NORMAN.

Default PING Song Writer - Flat means..... Monitors for Pro Tools?

=========================

Flat would mean no emphasis anywhere in the frequency spectrum.

You can buy speakers with million dollar tweeters that have extreme high end
reproduction, so that your teeny cymbals are (to my ear unnaturally) very
crisp.

Likewise, some systems have woofers galore, that cause your testes to wave
in the low freq breeze that moves your pant legs too.

Flat is sort of, umm, plain.

I like it that way, a good reference point for going to other playback
systems, and, of course, headphones...

Yes, it's haggis for Amurrikuns.
