Default Control24 down

Damn, end of the session, listening for levels etc of the last song prior to
end-of-day bounce, and THUMP!

whoa, what was that? hmm, music is still coming through both speakers. let's
turn them off & check the sub. ok, seems fine. Turn speakers back on and
nothing, zilch, nada, no nearfields, no sub. Board, converter,
outboard--meters are still responding. No audio when switching to external
either. Checking CD player through Mackie board into speakers & speakers are
fine. OK, one down. Now bypassing Control 24 & going 192 out to speakers (&
adjusting master fader) & we have sound. Damn, looks like the control room
section on the Control 24 is fried.

Anybody else ever have that problem?

One good thing is I'm just 30 minutes away from Digidesign.

Grrrr, after just 2 years...
