Default CD silk screening machine designs ?

I'm looking to build one for myself to compliment my project studio ...
maybe do small runs of cds for clients.

I believe most small runs use either inkjet or thermal printing on the CDs
because of the cost/time/effort involved in making the screens for silk screen
printing. Its a lot of work to go through unless you are making lots of
copies.

There are a few different companies selling CD printers. Inkjet is popular and
can easily do full color printing, but the costs per CD are higher, and the ink
is not waterproof. Thermal can have less colors, but the printing is
waterproof, and the costs are lower. I use a Primera Inscripta printer myself
- about 4cents per disk for waterproof one color printing that looks pretty
darn good.
