Default 19 inch racking short depth (385 mm) question

A follow-up

Thank you for the responses, I tried most of the leads but either found
the pricing excessive (3-4 times) or the equipment really not suitable.
It appears that people assume you want sides and doors if you have a
rack. (Mostly 500mm depth too).

For PJPP, that product is closest, and I would guess the depth is 400mm
(the 18U states 40cm) however, it has sides! A general comment, what is
it about online catalogues, why can't the details be consistent and
comprehensive?

I think what I'll do is probably drill and then tap the rear of the rack
from Studio Spares for the sliding shelves so I can rear fix them. If
anyone has experience of this product I would still be grateful for some
feedback.
