Anyone using this combo? Thoughts? I was also thinking about and
AT4060. Applications: Vox I have both these items, and while I love the Blueberry, I think you can find a better mic for vocals if you're going to spend that kind of money. Hell, I like the Baby Bottle better for vox. Right now, I'm using a Soundelux U99 for vocals and am pretty impressed with it. I use the Blueberry a ton on percussion. Haven't found a mic better for this purpose. -John Vice www.summertimestudios.com |

I have a Blueberry that I use predominantly with an Old School Audio
MP-1L(I imagine fairly more colored than a MP2NV) on a variety of male voices regularly and occasionally a female. This combo works well for me for a close sound on most voices I've tried. I've used mostly on hiphop and a few rock tracks. The Blueberry seems to have a very limited proximity effect and unhyped(maybe even a bit rolled off) low end and sits fairly well in the mix. When I was looking for a new mic I tried out a TLM 103, a Blueberry, Blue Mouse and a Baby Bottle through a platinum Focusrite and liked the Blueberry the most . A lot of people like the Mouse and I haven't heard a lot of people loving this mic, but I do. Try some out if you can and particularly the mic/pre combo. (Brian) wrote in message . com...
