What does it mean to be a digital musician???
That does not compute. Any thoughts from musicians/producers/engineers out there? With regard to computer based DAW: great for eliminating lots of cables and lots of space robbing real synths. You still need real musicians, talent and recording skills if you want to end up with music that doesn't sound like paint by number looks, and will sound good when you are finished. Lucky for you there is a lot of great info on the internet. There is also a lot of crap. Cheaper and less maintenance than analog, but many say it doesn't sound quite as good(as very good or excellent analog equipment). Garbage in, garbage out. "zenarcade" wrote in message om... and at the far end of the extreme it would be someone who uses no
other people but themselves. So extreme digital musicians play with themselves? Sorry, couldn't resist. |
