Try burning them at 4X speed
From: (John Payne) Organization: http://groups.google.com Newsgroups: rec.audio.pro Date: 20 Nov 2003 06:55:28 -0800 Subject: Vinyl CDs I recently bought, mostly for gimmick, the Verbatim Vinyl cd-rs. They are obvioulsy not actually vinyl but have the fake record grooves on the top side of the disc for that "retro" look. Anyway I burned about five and did some quality control and realized that in several older cd players the disc was not recognized and in newer ones it played after awhile but if you scanned ahead or back it would sound slightly distorted. Why? I burned the same tracks onto a TDK cd and they were fine in all players. |
