Hi. I am fixing up a Marantz PMD670 for interviewing, using it with
Audio Technica 3035 and Stagg PGT-80 mics. ISSUES Are there any issues I, as a relative newbie, need to consider to get a good result... and which pop filters would users here recommend please? I read some cheapies fall off the mic stands! CABLES Also, I am not sure what level of cabling, cost wise, to go to... or of good suppliers. Self-funded, so aware of costs, but don't want to compromise signal. I'll be interviewing indoors initially, plus doing linking pieces to microphone for insertion. SOFTWARE I am also seeking a good mixing software package, ideally free-ware or shareware. Any ideas on that welcomed. Not sure if Audigy is used by anyone here. Will be using PCM/WAV files. T.
