Hi,
I'm using the command line version of FLAC on an XP machine. I must be really stupid, because I cannot figure out the syntax to get it to do what I want, which is to take an .aif song file and encode it to an Ogg-wrapped FLAC file using the --ogg option. Could someone please tell me exactly what to type on the command line to take the file "songname.aif" which is located in a folder named "Flac Input" on the top level of my C: drive, and encode it to an Ogg-wrapped FLAC file using the --ogg option with the Verify function on, and a compression level of 6? Is it possible to tell it to encode an entire folder of .aif files at the same time? I have the GUI frontend but it will only accept .wav files, and I need to preserve tag info. Will be most appreciative of the answer . . . please don't tell my friends I'm this dumb. Dave |
