![]() i have had a Wurlitzer on and off for about 30 years and i know how they work. they use an electro-static pickup (that little aluminum or stainless steel bar is 130 volts hot, as the reed vibrates the capacitance changes and current sloshes in and out). but i've been reading that Rhodes are magnetic pickups (like electric guitars). i would also be interested in technical info about Clavinets. i think i knew how they work, but i would still like to see it in a good tech document. anybody know where this info could be?
