hi,
i'm just wanting to get into sound recording for film, and i'm wondering if anyone can give me a bit of advice for the best way to get started: i'd like to buy some sort of recorder that i can download the sounds from onto a mac, so i can practice editing them. i was thinking maybe a minidisc, but there doesn't seem to be any way to download the sound from them onto a mac, and they also record slightly compressed apparently. anyway, if anyone can give me any advice on the kind of equipment i should be looking at, then please let me know. thanks heaps |
