Nearest Mac program to CoolEdit Pro (Adobe Audition)

Hi Folks,

A friend who is stuck with an apple mac need to train up on audio
editing software. Is there anything close in the mac world to Adobe
Audition, since she will ultimately need to convert to Audition?
