Has anyone used these two pre-amps? They are both clean - so I am
wondering how they compare with headroom etc. I need something clean
and airy for drums... to go along side an API 3124+. I am poor...but
I spend ALL my money on gear. So the $600 difference between the
sytek and the isa428 is a big deal...and means I can get more rncs or
something. If all I'm getting by going to an isa428 is big meters and
the fancy box then I would much rather get the sytek. Any thoughts on
this? I have heard good things about both but I can't go out and test
them myself because I'm in Los Angeles and they don't have places like
that here. (If you know of a place please tell me) Thanks.
