I want to hook a Radio Shack Minimus amplifier to a pair (two) Bose 301
speakers.

Does this affect my choice of turntable? I was thinking of a Garage 95, and
I'm wondering if I can put my ceramic cartridge in it.

Also, how much should I spend on a power cord? I can cut the cable off the
Minimus amplifier close to the chassis and solder on a high end power cord.
