An 10 GHz IBM Microdrive, a good battery power supply and there you go with the normal 48/16 wave format for hours... I thing it's a deal. Recently I was attending a Zagreb Solists strings concert; I have been hearing closely to the instruments. First I thought "such things I'd record analog only" -- a friend of mine recorded that with a permission using a Sony MD and its stereo mike; haven't heard that yet but I think the violins remained, ---well saying on German, "Schweissbrenner"-- sounding on the MD. Well that's an acetilene torch sound ![]() All the best, Edi Zubovic, Crikvenica, Croatia |

(It also does MP2) Marc .... Yes, that's a point! Only I'd like to know something more about its converters... a real thing would be theoretically but viable say a modular converter section so one could upgrade to another converters such 24/96 or even higher sampling rate, bandwidth and IBM Microdrive's i/o rate permitting? Or am I thus stepping into the laptop realm with such ideas ![]() built in. An external power supply connection is, I'm sure, provided too. Edi Zubovic, Crikvenica, Croatia |
