![]() The best answer to this and similar questions is, IMO, to try it both ways and use your ears to determine which is better. My intuition tells me that there would be litlle or no audible difference. Technically, hiss reducing first makes sense because hiss is amplified along with desired signal. |

I would think hiss reduction first would be better because the hiss would be amplified in the opposite order. True in 16 bit mode. |
