Hello All,
A question - can I do the following. I am using an AKAI Headrush E2 effects pedal to sample my voice and guitar to produce loops in a live environment. I want both the guitar and the vocal mic to go into the E2 so that I can loop and layer either of them. The E2 has only one input. I am thinking of doing the following: 1. Take the vocal mic and the guitar into two separate channels on my small 4 channel mixer (Soundcraft Compact 4). 2. Take the monitor output of the mixer to the E2 and feed both the mic and guitar to this channel. 3. Take the output of the E2 back into a third channel on the mixer - this channel would not be sent to the monitor for obvious reasons! 4. Combine the three inputs (mic/guitar/E2) on the mixed output of the 4 channel mixer to the speakers. Can anybody see a problem with this approach? Will it be OK to feed out of the mixer and back into it in this way? Cheers, Alfie |
