I just recently bought a HDA X-Plosion 7.1 soundcard with DTS encoding
on it. My Sony STR-DE595 receiver 5.1 is currently reading "Dolby Pro
Logic II" for it's setting. I was wondering how to go about switching
it to the DTS decoder. I know that DTS is better and I was wondering
if there was something on the menu that I had to select or if I have to
some how set it to auto-detect or what. Thanks a lot for the direction!

Sony's have "AFS" or Auto Format Select, yes? Just press the AFS button or
set up in the receiver menus, if any, I would think...not an expert on all
the formats etc though. I just fix 'em when they break.
