I'm considering buying this amp. Anybody have one? Opinions? Especially
about RELIABILITY, which seems to have been a big issue with NAD in years past. Is it still? I want an integrated amp with TWO stereo preamp outs (one would be connected to MAIN IN), and both preamp outs affected by the volume control -- also with a remote. So far this is the only amp I've found that qualifies. Any other models would also be much appreciated. -- |

Don't buy a NAD. I bought a c370 a few years ago and have had it in service twice, once under warranty. I haven't had any trouble with my C370 amplifier in five years or so, but my C540 CD player has pretty much never worked properly. It's been in for repair twice -- once under warranty, once, foolishly, not. Each time the repair work made it work better for about a month. The C540 is the most expensive non-functional electronic device I've ever purchased. -- Steven E. Harris -- |
