I find that when recording in Cakewalk Pro Audio 8, the levels are very low
compared to what I run Soundforge with exact same Line In and Record Level settings on the system. Both set to record mono using the L channel going into the Line-In to an Audigy2. When it's set up to where I get a nice fat signal with Soundforge, the level meter in the console view in Cakewalk is barely registering and the resulting recording reflects this. Any suggestions what might be causing this? |

Any suggestions what might be causing this? Are you using different drivers (possibly MME in Cakewalk and WDM in Soundforge)? |
