Odd problem. I was trying to use the mic to record a voice over using
windows sound recorder or my Pinnacle Studio 9. The microphone works
sometime but most of the time it will not record sound. I tried another mic
and that did not work. I looked at every software setting I could find.
Mic is NOT muted, volume for mic is all the way up. Any ideas as to what
could cause a problem like this. Could the sound board or driver have gone
south? It's an onboard Soundmax video card.
