M-Audio emailed me and told me there is no way to avoid the A/D conversion.
I don't know how good the converters are. I read some good things about this preamp/compressor and am hoping to get some user feedback. I'd love to get a couple of channels of Vintech or Averill but money is an issue. The most I'd want to commit is 3-500 per channel. I was considering selling my A&H MixWizard 14:4:2+ because I don't like the preamps in it- and the Onyx by Mackie are suppose to be really good but I'd rather just spend the money I'd lose on preamps. Thanks, Om |

Thanks- I have 2 RNC and I love them. A friend just turned me on to another
really good preamp- Sytek- 4 channels- super clean and well made- no frills- less than $900 http://www.sytek-audio-systems.com/p.../preamps/mpx4/ I'd almost prefer a RNP and 2 other pre amps with different colors. I won't be doing much more than 2 or 3 tracks at a time. o "Zigakly" wrote in message ... "Om_Audio" wrote in message ... M-Audio emailed me and told me there is no way to avoid the A/D conversion. The popular choice around here is the FMR RNP, $500 for two very clean neutral preamps. |
