TEAC AR-40S STEREO REEL TO REEL TAPE DECK. One of TEAC's best. This
deck has been tested to power up and the motor functions well. The
controls all appear to engage correctly. Unfortunately I do not have
any reels of tape to fully test. It has beed stored very well and is
super clean. This deck has a few very cool features I've learned about
that make it a great choice for audiophiles and musicians interested in
reel tape players.

USES 7" OR 5" REELS. 2 TAPE SPEEDS- 7 1/2 OR 3 3/4 INCHES PER SECOND

GOOD CHOICE FOR MIXING A RECORDING PROJECT DOWN TO GET THAT VINTAGE
ANALOG SOUND.

FEATURES MONITOR SELECT SWITCH WHICH ALLOWS YOU TO MONITOR FROM THE

So there you have it. It's a very cool deck. It has not been used in
years, but as I said it powers up and all the controls appear to be
engaging properly. It'll weigh close to 50 lbs packed for shipping.
