LaCie Triple Interface drives. USB, FireWire400, and FireWire800.

250GB for about $225...

Hey Matt,

Which Pro-tools interface are you using? Or, are you just using
the software? If you're using the M-box for example, you could use
just about any low cost external hard drive. On the other hand, if
you're using Pro-Tools HD. and are recording 48 tracks @ 192k, running
TDM plugins, then you're talking about about another universe. In any
event, I would go with Seagate, next Glyph. It will hurt a little
more, but the quality is far better!

p.s. poor people are more inspired musicians. (that's if you're a
musician at all!)

Firewire Direct has a 200GB 7200 RPM drive for about $259 list, your price from
Pro-Tape $249. There are other varieties as well.

I would suggest looking at one of the NitroAV raids as well. We also have some
hot-swappable solutions.

We do ProTools as well - let me know if you need an upgrade. We are clearing
out our current inventory of 002s and 002 racks.
